How the parlay calculator works

Multiply each leg’s decimal odds together to get the combined odds. Multiply that by your stake for the payout. Subtract your stake to get the profit if every leg wins.

Example

Three legs at 2.00, 1.80 and 1.95 give combined odds of 7.02. A $100 stake returns $702 — a $602 profit if all three legs land. Implied probability is 14.2%.

Heads-up: multis are designed to be high-margin products for AU bookies. Consider singles or Krok Odds’ +EV scanner for sustained profit.

FAQ

  • What is a parlay or multi bet?

A parlay (called a multi in Australia) is a single bet that combines two or more selections. Every leg must win for the bet to pay out — the combined odds equal the product of each individual leg.

  • Why are multis usually -EV?

Each leg carries a bookmaker margin, and those margins compound when multiplied together. A 4-leg multi at AU corporate books typically carries a 12-20% house edge versus a 4-6% edge on singles.

  • How many legs can I combine?

Most AU bookmakers cap multis at 20 legs. This calculator supports up to 20 — but realistically, anything beyond 4-5 legs is more lottery ticket than betting strategy.

  • Are same-game multis (SGMs) different?

Yes — SGM legs are correlated, so bookmakers price them with a much larger margin than standard multis (often 15-25%). The combined odds you see for an SGM are not the simple product of each leg.
