GET/api/v1/racing/field-formFree tier
The full declared field for one race — every runner with jockey, trainer, barrier, weight, best available win price, the per-bookmaker price list, career/venue/distance/prep splits, sectionals, a speed map and the last few form lines.
Scratched runners stay in the field with `scratched: true` — the board serves them too, so filter client-side. `entry_id` (`{race_key_v2}_{tab_number}`) is the stable identity that joins this payload to `/racing/meetings?full=1` and `/racing/results/{date}`. `odds` is the raw per-bookmaker win price list for this runner; `best_win` is the best of it. Form/sectional/profile blocks are best-effort: a runner with no history for a code carries `null` (or empty arrays) for that block rather than being dropped, and greyhound/harness cards carry fewer blocks than thoroughbred. Cached 120s. A win price of exactly 1.01 is a pre-market placeholder (a book quoting its whole card at 1.01), not a price, so it is excluded from `best_win` and `bookmakers_priced`.

KrokBot AI pick detail for a single race — per-runner win probability/rating, field analysis verdicts, and exchange money-flow tip signals, from the picks model store.
Pass the race id straight from /api/v1/racing/meetings — it is mapped internally (picks doc id → the race's board entry → venue + meeting date + race number), so a pick stored under a different id family still resolves. A race with no published pick is a 200 with meta.status='not_modelled' and an empty runners array (NOT a 404); a meeting_id supplied alongside race_id that refers to a different race is a 400. `model` field is deliberately null (internal, not exposed via public API). exchange money-flow tip join is best-effort (venue+raceNumber+sport, disambiguated by jumpTime proximity) — failure degrades gracefully, doesn't fail the request.

A single runner's served race history (form) across thoroughbred/harness/greyhound codes — the live recent-form table unioned with the served results history, each row marked form_source — with joined sectionals and a replay-video resolver.
Served form is a UNION: the live recent-form table (floor 2026-07-12) is merged with the served results history (backfilled to 2018) for the same runner, matched on normalised runner name + racing code. History is unioned in when the recent table runs out (recentCount < limit) or the requested `since` predates the recent floor. Every row carries `form_source` ('recent' | 'history'); a recent row wins a tie. Newest first, capped at `limit`, clamped by the key's historicalDays window. Sectionals join is a single best-effort query per request.

Aggregated career/split stats for a single runner — win/place rates by track, distance, going, track+distance combo, and prep-stage (first-up/second-up/in-prep), plus sectionals and career prize money.
404 with meta.status='not_yet_populated' if no historical record AND no sectionals row exist. When sport_key is omitted, probes racing_T → racing_H → racing_G in order and returns the first with a career record (falls further back to sectionals-only if no fetchRunnerStats hit). An upstream read failure answers 503 with Retry-After: 5 and Cache-Control: no-store — deliberately distinct from the not_yet_populated 404, which now means a genuine absence rather than a failed read.

Sectional (split-time) lookup by runner name, race id or venue+meeting_date, without needing a horse profile code — one row per past run from the sectional source table.
Requires one of runner, race_id, or venue+meeting_date (else 400). race_id here is the table's own race key ({date}_{venue-slug}_{code}_{raceNo}, e.g. 2026-10-08_kyneton_T_9), not the numeric /api/v1/racing/meetings race id. Rows newest captured_at first; meta.matched reports rows kept. Empty match is 200 + `data: []` (credit refunded), never 204. The collector identity (`source`, `source_table`) is filtered on but NEVER served. Use /api/v1/racing/sectionals/{horseCode} when you already hold a horse code. Three sources are folded into one row per past run: the split table (the only one carrying an overall time for the start), the race's own in-running positions (settled / 800m / 400m) and 600 m split, and the runner's past-run 600 m split from the card-keyed form feed. split_times.last600_s is the union of the second and third; the form feed's copy is matched on the card race because it carries no race id of its own. split_times also carries the last-200/400/600/800-metre splits of the run (l200_s…l800_s, mirrored onto the last200_s…last800_s names) — a split is served only when the run's own segment times tile that whole closing window, so a run with a gap in it, or without a segment reaching the finish, answers null for that split rather than a number that is too fast; l600_s (and its last600_s mirror) is ALWAYS the derived sum of the three trailing 200 m segments, so every run has exactly one 600 m definition; the form feed's own published 600 m figure measures about 2.5 s longer on the same run and is a different quantity, so it is not served and a run that carries only that figure is not returned. split_ranks ranks each of those splits within the race field (1 is fastest, ties share the rank) and is filled only when the request names a race — a runner-only lookup serves nulls there. section_ranks carries the source's own per-segment rank where it publishes one. distance_points includes the run's finishing position where the form carries one. A run filed by the past-form collector and dated before 2026 serves no ladder at all: that collector publishes one set of segment times for the whole race (the winner's), so split_times and split_ranks are null on those rows and only the runner's own finish, margin_lengths and sp are served. meta.pre2026_run_level_split_rows reports how many rows that withheld.
